About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Conduct time and motion studies as well as capacity analyses
- Develop and maintain work standards and optimize workstation layouts and production flows
- Coordinate continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing principles
- Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support productivity and cost reduction
- Support automation projects and the digital transformation of operations
- Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to manage change and implement corrective actions
- Train and support employees during the implementation of new working methods
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI or Minitab
- Strong project management skills
- Bilingualism in French and English (written and spoken) is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
