Coordinator, Undergraduate Student Retention

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination and administration of the FIPSE grant program.
• Build and maintain supportive relationships with students to promote satisfaction and retention.
• Advise pre-nursing students on program requirements, academic policies, and degree planning.
• Implement strategic initiatives, including a pre-nursing summer bridge program and a peer mentoring program.
• Coordinate services for students participating in program activities and outreach efforts.
• Maintain accurate documentation of grant fiscal records, student records, and evaluation data.
• Support the selection, training, and supervision of student office workers.
• Collaborate with Academic Advising and the Office of Student Success to achieve grant objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of related experience/training.
• Proficiency in standard office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems.
• Strong data collection, analysis, and report preparation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence and material creation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment.
