About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Quality Manager and Medical Lead in coordinating projects, including data analysis, evaluation planning, and project charter creation.
- Participate in the design and implementation of quality improvement (QI) project charters and change ideas to drive clinical outcomes.
- Conduct quality audits, including chart audits, interviews, and observations.
- Interpret and analyze trends in quality improvement data to proactively identify system opportunities.
- Create data management systems and oversee data reporting for various quality projects.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations identifying risks, milestones, and upcoming activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Digital, Infection Prevention and Control, and Occupational Health and Safety, as well as external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Quality, or Project Management.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong statistical analysis capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for managing stakeholder relationships and presenting data.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
- Quality Improvement knowledge certificate.
