Coordinator Production Cement I

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety by ensuring all work complies with company, OSHA, and MSHA standards
• Oversee plant equipment, monitor production performance, and manage startup/shutdown procedures
• Manage workforce planning, including assigning work schedules and authorizing overtime
• Initiate and follow up on maintenance work orders to ensure equipment reliability
• Support product quality by collaborating with Quality Control to troubleshoot and maintain standards
• Complete daily production reports, track operational issues, and document unsafe practices
• Oversee compliance with environmental regulations across plant operations
• Support logistical operations by managing cement shipments and communicating quarry activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent education and experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience in operations or a related industrial role
• MSHA certification or the ability to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software systems
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
• Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience
• Experience with cement processes
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish
