About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary advisor for Fraternity and Sorority Life, providing guidance on chapter development, recruitment, and risk management
- Advise and mentor the Board of Campus Activities to support campus-wide programs, traditions, and spirit initiatives
- Develop and facilitate leadership education programs, workshops, and training opportunities for student growth
- Build meaningful relationships with students through mentorship and support for leadership and involvement opportunities
- Coordinate and assess student programming and engagement efforts to enhance the overall student experience
- Support New Student Orientation, Registered Student Organizations, and Student Union operations
- Assist with departmental marketing, budgeting, event logistics, and administration of student organization management platforms
- Collaborate with campus partners to promote student wellness, community building, and retention
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience in student leadership, fraternity and sorority life, student organizations, or event planning
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, student-centered environment
- Willingness to work frequent evenings and weekends to support campus programs and traditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting fraternities, sororities, or student organizations in a higher education setting
- Familiarity with leadership development, assessment, and risk management
- Experience with student engagement software or organization management platforms
