Coordinator of Student Activities & Community Director

Responsibilities

• Serve as an advisor to Order of Omega and assist with Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils.
• Support fraternity and sorority life through recruitment, Greek Week, and leadership development training.
• Oversee the Lower Village residential community, ensuring adherence to rules, fire safety, and security.
• Supervise, train, and develop student Resident Assistants.
• Develop creative social, cultural, safety, and educational programming for residents.
• Assist the Student Activities department with large-scale events such as Homecoming and Family Weekend.
• Serve as a Community Standards Hearing Officer.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1-3 years of higher education work experience (may include graduate assistantships).
• Knowledge of fraternity and sorority life operations.
• Ability to work a non-standard schedule, including nights and weekends.
• This is a full-time, twelve-month, live-in position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically within student activities and residential life.
• Strong knowledge of student development theory and practice.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and cultural competence.
