Coordinator of Sports Operations - Softball

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate administrative, operational, and logistical functions for the Rutgers Softball program
• Manage team travel, business operations, and recruiting logistics
• Oversee camp administration and facility coordination
• Serve as a liaison between the softball program and various athletics department units
• Support student-athlete initiatives to ensure a first-class competitive and organizational experience
• Ensure program compliance with institutional and NCAA policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other athletic software systems
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for competitions, recruiting, and special events

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of NCAA, Big Ten Conference, and institutional rules and regulations
• Previous experience working in collegiate athletics, preferably in a Division I environment
• Experience coordinating recruiting activities, team travel, and camps/clinics
• Familiarity with NCAA compliance and athletics business systems
