About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of alumni and community engagement programming.
- Plan and manage events from start to finish, including Homecoming, Reunions, and Bee Happy Hour.
- Coordinate vendors, campus partners, and volunteers while developing promotional materials.
- Execute special events aligned with institutional priorities, such as the McMullen Awards.
- Assist with donor events, including Day of Giving and the Wine Festival (planning, marketing, and auctions).
- Build and maintain relationships with alumni and donors to support engagement and solicitation initiatives.
- Assist with student engagement programming and the Senior Reception.
- Maintain accurate data entry and reporting to ensure data integrity in advancement systems.
- Support events requiring occasional evenings, weekends, and limited travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree OR 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail with a strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with (or willingness to learn) CRM systems such as Ellucian Colleague Advancement.
