About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of alumni and community engagement programming.
  • Plan and manage events from start to finish, including Homecoming, Reunions, and Bee Happy Hour.
  • Coordinate vendors, campus partners, and volunteers while developing promotional materials.
  • Execute special events aligned with institutional priorities, such as the McMullen Awards.
  • Assist with donor events, including Day of Giving and the Wine Festival (planning, marketing, and auctions).
  • Build and maintain relationships with alumni and donors to support engagement and solicitation initiatives.
  • Assist with student engagement programming and the Senior Reception.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and reporting to ensure data integrity in advancement systems.
  • Support events requiring occasional evenings, weekends, and limited travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with (or willingness to learn) CRM systems such as Ellucian Colleague Advancement.
