Coordinator of Signature Events

Responsibilities

• Provide logistical and administrative support to the Associate Director of Signature Events for various University Advancement functions.
• Coordinate and confirm vendor details, logistics, and compliance for upcoming events.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of marquee events such as Homecoming, Parent and Family Weekend, and Grandparents Day.
• Manage event-related timelines, data entry, and organizational logistics.
• Provide on-site assistance with audio-visual needs, catering, campus information, and safety.
• Support creative production and assist with volunteer communications and contact management.
• Coordinate planning committees for major university events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training in event coordination or administration.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to live and uphold the University’s Christ-centered mission and values.
