About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate programs and events for alumni, parents, students, and friends to increase engagement and philanthropy.
  • Co-manage the Student Engagement Officer (SEO) Program, including recruiting, hiring, training, and managing 6–8 students.
  • Design and build segmented content for digital outreach, including monthly e-news, eMarketing campaigns, and social media strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement team to support alumni volunteers and signature events like Homecoming.
  • Develop marketing materials aligned with University brand standards and manage event registration pages.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and constituent data within the division's management database.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Creative design and content development abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Experience in program or event planning within a college, corporate, or nonprofit setting.
  • Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Constant Contact.
  • Experience with social media engagement and constituent management systems.
