Coordinator Materials I

Responsibilities

• Coordinate materials and supplies for assemblers to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing processes
• Maintain organized stock items and Work In Process (WIP) parts using a supermarket inventory system
• Operate electric forklifts safely to move materials and replenish stock at the Point of Use
• Conduct accurate and timely daily cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity
• Assist assemblers with material needs throughout the day to prevent production delays
• Source parts from different departments as required and manage replenishment tasks
• Follow all company safety policies, including the use of required PPE and maintaining clear aisles

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and maintain good physical condition for standing, bending, and climbing
• Proficiency in reading a tape measure
• Ability to learn and understand simple blueprints
• Experience operating a forklift
• Knowledge of 5S activities, problem-solving, and Continuous Improvement processes
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
