About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage college-wide communications to employees across multiple formats, disseminating information regarding campus activities, events, and news.
- Design graphic art for print, digital, and specialty advertising, ensuring all designs align with established branding guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop promotional materials such as flyers, posters, banners, and signage.
- Edit press releases, distribute communications to media contacts, and maintain media tracking databases.
- Coordinate and assist with large college-related events, including Convocation, MLK Luncheon, and employee appreciation events.
- Manage College sponsorships, including budget oversight and benefit tracking.
- Update marketing materials and web content to ensure accuracy and alignment with the College brand.
- Assist with photography needs and the maintenance of College websites and portals.
- Support budget management by monitoring accounts, initiating purchase orders, and processing invoices.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of related experience in graphic design, marketing, communications, or event coordination.
- Associate degree or equivalent training (or 5 years of applicable industry experience).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation for travel to multiple campus locations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet regular deadlines.
