About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate coaching, implementation support, and training efforts for district leadership teams, focusing on instructional leadership systems and High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM).
- Supervise assigned staff, including Campus Coaches, ensuring effective service delivery and providing ongoing performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with Program Leads to strategically plan and execute grant-aligned activities that meet district needs and state expectations.
- Conduct regular district visits to lead or support professional development sessions.
- Facilitate weekly check-ins and monthly coaching sessions to build capacity among campus-level leaders and teachers.
- Monitor and assess implementation quality through data collection and analysis to make targeted planning adjustments.
- Manage assigned budgets in a timely, efficient, and fiscally responsible manner in accordance with program guidelines.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited university.
- Valid Texas teaching certificate and relevant endorsements.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a principal, principal manager, Texas Instructional Leadership (TIL) Lead, or Strong Foundations Lead.
- Demonstrated competency in educational leadership, supervision, and group facilitation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and cloud-based networked environments.
- Ability to travel independently to fulfill position responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience consulting or building capacity within school districts.
- Strong knowledge of Texas Lesson Study and Bluebonnet Learning.
- Experience developing professional development for district and campus leaders regarding HQIM planning and implementation.
