Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management, Physical Activity or Kinesiology, 3+ years fitness and recreation experience, 2+ years coordination and administrative support experience, 2+ years fitness program evaluation experience, First Aid and CPR-C certification
About the role
Responsibilities
- Organize personal training, registered, and drop-in fitness programs
- Provide administrative support and staff coordination for the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and scheduling of casual staff
- Coordinate program setup and registration within the FUSION portal
- Maintain program information on the KPE website
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of fitness programs and participant metrics
- Facilitate educational workshops, seminars, and special events
- Promote athletic and fitness programs at student events
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management, Physical Activity, Kinesiology, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a fitness and recreation environment
- Minimum 2 years of experience in coordination and administrative support
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fitness program evaluation and analysis
- Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using the FUSION program registration system
