About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the timely production of donor acknowledgements and stewardship communications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to institutional standards.
  • Maintain production schedules and track stewardship deliverables, events, and projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for stewardship initiatives and events, including vendor coordination and on-site assistance.
  • Support the maintenance of donor records and perform routine data management and hygiene activities to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with the implementation of donor recognition programs, giving societies, and first-time donor engagement efforts.
  • Respond to routine donor and campus partner inquiries in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years of experience in advancement, development, donor relations, stewardship, or a related area.
  • Experience with administrative or project coordination tasks, including managing timelines and multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Strong data analysis, organization, and synthesis skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and electronically.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, confidential environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a higher-education or nonprofit advancement environment.
  • Familiarity with donor databases or CRM systems such as Raiser's Edge, Advance, or Salesforce.
  • Additional certifications in project management, Excel, or database administration.
  • Experience supporting donor recognition programs or stewardship events.
