About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation, review, and closure of academic programs through data modeling, analysis, and quality assurance administration.
  • Manage the collection, modeling, analysis, and dissemination of academic program data and student pathway intelligence.
  • Perform analyses of institutional and external data to support strategic planning, curriculum management, and governance submissions.
  • Coordinate academic planning and review administration, including the University of Toronto Quality Assurance Process (UTQAP).
  • Manage complex, confidential correspondence for the Director and Vice-Provost regarding strategic academic decision-making.
  • Provide expert advice relative to academic planning and reviews across the University.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, statistics, data analytics, higher education, public policy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data collection and quantitative/qualitative analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience working with large institutional datasets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in academic program administration, quality assurance, or academic governance.
  • Familiarity with the Ontario post-secondary regulatory environment and quality assurance frameworks (UTQAP, OUCQA).
  • Knowledge of higher education data ecosystems, including enrolment management and labour market intelligence.
