Coordinator, Academic Achievers

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver year-round academic support and enrichment programs for at-risk ninth through twelfth-grade students.
• Develop and manage a summer residential program, including social, recreational, and cultural activities.
• Coordinate weekly after-school tutoring, Saturday enrichment, ACT preparation, and college readiness workshops.
• Provide mentorship and monitor the academic performance of matriculated university students to ensure scholarship eligibility.
• Recruit, select, supervise, and evaluate student and professional educational staff.
• Collaborate with high school administration and faculty to promote program participation and align with curricula.
• Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and prepare detailed reports for supervisory review.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with students, staff, and university constituents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Training in developmental education.
• Training in secondary or higher education student services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Training or experience working in social work or early adult education.
• Social work licensure.
