Coordinating Producer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage social media and digital content for the show and anchor across YouTube, Bluesky, X, TikTok, and DTC products
• Craft a unique digital presence to drive views and clicks
• Write copy for all social media and digital posts
• Pitch, edit, shoot, and post original social media and digital content
• Oversee and produce original content for MS NOW's DTC products
• Assist with research on segments and interviews
• Pitch story ideas

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience in live television, preferably cable news
• Thorough knowledge of current events, US politics, geopolitics, foreign policy, and history
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours under tight deadlines
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience producing compelling social media and digital content
• Proficiency in desktop editing and Avid
• Experience with Wildmoka
• Ability to identify viral clips and moments to drive traffic
• Strong research and story planning skills
