Cooling Customer Engineer-Data Center Thermal Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, scheduled maintenance, and emergency service on Liebert Air products.
• Provide on-site and phone technical assistance to customers to ensure optimal thermal performance.
• Communicate with National Technical Support regarding equipment issues and implement Field Change Notices.
• Maintain accurate administrative records, including timecards, expense reports, mileage, and service tickets.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE and compliance with the "14 hours rule."
• Strive for "first time fix" results to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• HVAC Certificate Program degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Valid EPA refrigerant license.
• Basic electrical knowledge and ability to read/interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with electrical/electronic test equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in various environments, including extreme temperatures and around moving machinery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six years of military experience in a related technical field.
• Working knowledge of Ohm's Law and HVAC theory.
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
