About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare, serve, and deliver food within the convent according to established menus and recipes
- Alternate between cook duties and dietary aide responsibilities throughout the work shift
- Maintain sanitary standards and follow established policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively in a team setting to provide healthy and homemade meals
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience in an institutional food service environment
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Ability to work days and afternoons, including a weekend rotation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an eldercare setting (assisted living, long-term care, or hospital)
- ServSafe certification
- Previous Cook or Prep Cook experience
