Chez Pierre is a unique restaurant that employs "Pierres Précieuses," adults with mental or cognitive disabilities. Located in the heart of Aix-en-Provence, the restaurant aims to provide high-quality dining while actively contributing to the integration, learning, and well-being of its employees.
Responsibilities
- Manage kitchen production for approximately 35 covers per service
- Ensure the taste and aesthetic quality of all dishes served
- Supervise and mentor staff with disabilities, ensuring proper techniques and well-being
- Act as a permanent facilitator and reference point for team members
- Handle ordering, receiving, and storage of goods
- Guarantee compliance with hygiene, safety, and HACCP regulations
Requirements
- Higher education in hospitality/catering or solid professional experience in cooking
- Strong commitment to the social mission of integrating people with disabilities
- Excellent listening skills and ability to build trust
- Empathy, patience, and pedagogical skills
- Ability to be firm when necessary while maintaining a positive posture
- Strong organizational skills and rigor
- Dynamic yet calm and serene under pressure
