Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, high-quality meals daily from scratch for multiple restaurants
• Follow standardized recipes and maintain consistency in food quality
• Operate kitchen equipment and tools found within the hospitality and healthcare industry
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and hospitality
• Work productively in a team environment to support uninterrupted business operations

Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of cooking techniques
• Current sanitation certification
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and interpret instructions
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Sensitivity to the needs of older adults
• Reliable and punctual attendance

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal culinary training
• Prior experience in a high-quality restaurant, country club, hotel, or senior living company
• Basic knowledge of therapeutic diets and heart-healthy guidelines
• Flexibility in scheduling
