About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare all food using the daily planner and standard recipes
- Work the food line during mealtimes to serve residents and guests
- Ensure all food meets safety guidelines and kitchen areas meet sanitation standards
- Respond quickly to resident and guest needs to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and co-workers
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- Possession of, or willingness to obtain, necessary food handling and sanitation licenses
- Basic computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to make independent decisions and solve practical problems in a fast-paced environment
