Cook

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist with the cooking and plating of meals
• Cook a variety of dishes in line with menu standards and guest expectations
• Ensure excellent presentation of meals before service
• Maintain proper food storage, safety, and hygiene standards
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements
• Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Positive, proactive attitude and passion for cooking
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Valid working rights within Australia or New Zealand
