About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare, taste, and present all menu items in an advanced capacity on assigned stations
- Cook and serve menu items following designated recipes and procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary station in compliance with health department regulations
- Manage food preparation and storage to minimize waste
- Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the team and maintain a positive, professional attitude
Requirements
- At least three years of professional kitchen experience
- Proven experience working with grills and broilers
- Proficiency in the preparation of soups and sauces
- Ability to work long hours standing in extreme heat and on slippery surfaces
- Strong knowledge of food-handling techniques and occupational safety practices
- Ability to deliver high-quality products quickly and consistently
