About the role

Responsibilities

  • Work various kitchen positions independently, including pantry and banquet roles, based on business demands
  • Assist team members with mentorship, training development, and daily prep guidance
  • Support the chef with specialty dinners and functions with minimal supervision
  • Develop daily features and special menus under the guidance of the chef
  • Assist with food requisitions and ordering to support COGS budgeting
  • Lead and manage service in the absence of the chef

Requirements

  • Formal culinary arts training or education
  • Specialized focus on pastry and baking techniques
  • One year of experience as a Cook II or previous Cook I experience
