About the role
Responsibilities
- Work various kitchen positions independently, including pantry and banquet roles, based on business demands
- Assist team members with mentorship, training development, and daily prep guidance
- Support the chef with specialty dinners and functions with minimal supervision
- Develop daily features and special menus under the guidance of the chef
- Assist with food requisitions and ordering to support COGS budgeting
- Lead and manage service in the absence of the chef
Requirements
- Formal culinary arts training or education
- Specialized focus on pastry and baking techniques
- One year of experience as a Cook II or previous Cook I experience
