About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 86 children daily
- Manage menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering, and inventory control
- Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with Food Safety regulations
- Maintain strict adherence to dietary and allergy safety requirements
- Operate independently while working as a collaborative team player
Requirements
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid certificate
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (completed or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in menu planning and managing dietary/allergy requirements
