Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 60 children daily
• Manage menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering, and inventory control
• Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with Food Safety regulations
• Maintain strict adherence to dietary and allergy safety requirements
• Work collaboratively as a team player within the early education centre

Requirements

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card/DCSI Clearance)
• Current First Aid certification
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (completed or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in menu planning, budgeting, and managing dietary requirements
