Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 66 children daily
• Manage menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering, and inventory control
• Ensure all meals cater to specific dietary requirements and allergy safety
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with Food Safety regulations
• Collaborate with the centre team to support a positive early learning environment

Requirements

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification
• Experience in menu planning, budgeting, and stock management
• Proven experience in managing dietary and allergy-safe food requirements
• Knowledge of Food Safety regulations and kitchen safety standards
• Current Working with Children Check
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (completed or willingness to complete)
• Availability for set shifts Monday to Friday
