Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 75 children daily
• Manage menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering, and inventory control
• Ensure all meals meet dietary and allergy-safe requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with Food Safety regulations
• Operate independently while working as part of a supportive childcare team

Requirements

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification
• Experience in menu planning, budgeting, and stock control
• Proven experience managing dietary and allergy-safe food requirements
• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card / DCSI Clearance)
• Current First Aid certificate
