Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for over 100 children each day
• Manage menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering, and inventory control
• Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with Food Safety regulations
• Manage dietary and allergy-safe requirements to ensure child safety
• Maintain high standards of food quality to support children's physical and mental growth

Requirements

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification
• Current Working with Children Check / Blue Card / DCSI Clearance
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (completed or willingness to complete)
• Proven experience in menu planning, budgeting, and managing dietary requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-player attitude
