Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 108 children daily
• Manage menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering, and inventory control
• Ensure all meals meet dietary and allergy safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with Food Safety regulations
• Operate independently while working as part of a supportive team

Requirements

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid certification
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (completed or willingness to obtain)
• Proven experience in menu planning, budgeting, and dietary/allergy management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
