Cook

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 65 children daily
• Manage menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering, and inventory control
• Ensure all meals meet dietary and allergy-safe requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with Food Safety regulations
• Operate as a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification
• Proven experience in a cook role within a similar environment
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) / Blue Card / DCSI Clearance
• Valid First Aid certification
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (completed or willingness to obtain)
• Availability for set shift days and times, Monday to Friday
