About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare, marinate, season, and grill chicken and other proteins according to company standards
- Monitor food quality, holding times, and proper serving temperatures
- Receive orders, cut cooked chicken, and arrange proteins for proper presentation
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, including equipment, grills, and hoods
- Follow all food safety, rotation, and sanitation policies to ensure a safe environment
- Assist with hot and cold prep lines and help train new cooks as needed
- Work collaboratively with the restaurant team to achieve operational goals
Requirements
- Food Handler Certification (to be obtained promptly upon hire)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of previous restaurant cooking experience
