About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook all main meals using various methods including deep-frying, pan-frying, broiling, baking, boiling, grilling, sautéing, and steaming
- Ensure all meals are prepared within the allocated food budget
- Maintain consistency in food delivery, handling, storing, and labeling products according to FOOD SAFE standards
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, steamers, grills, and broilers
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in the hospitality or food service industry
- Food Safety certification
- WHMIS certification
- Strong customer service skills
- Professional and punctual attitude
