About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals for cafeteria, boarding programs, and catered events following established recipes and menus
- Support daily lunch delivery operations, ensuring meals are packaged and delivered accurately and on time
- Use a variety of cooking methods such as roasting, grilling, steaming, poaching, boiling, and baking
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
- Follow all FoodSafe/ServeSafe and health & safety protocols
- Assist with inventory management and FIFO rotation
- Provide professional service and build positive relationships with students and staff
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a cook role
- FoodSafe or ServeSafe certification
- Experience with international cuisine and dietary needs
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check
