About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals and daily specials following recipe standards
- Use various cooking methods including roasting, grilling, steaming, poaching, boiling, and baking
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across all work areas
- Follow FoodSafe/ServeSafe, health & safety, and sanitation requirements
- Support ordering, receiving, inventory, and FIFO rotation to minimize waste
- Provide professional service and build positive relationships with students and staff
- Assist the Executive Chef/Sous Chef with prep planning and daily execution
Requirements
- FoodSafe and/or ServeSafe certification
- Experience with international cuisine and accommodating dietary needs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
