About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare all meals and snacks for 16-26 crew members
- Order all food and galley supplies on a trip-by-trip basis
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the galley
- Manage meal preparation within budget limits
Requirements
- Current State of Alaska Food Handler’s permit
- Current ServSafe certification
- Previous cooking experience and/or training
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening (including THC)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience cooking or working at sea
