About the role
Responsibilities
- Support cooks and chefs with daily food preparation
- Prepare daily menu items according to recipe specifications under the supervision of the Lead Cook
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the work environment
- Work within a fast-paced dining service environment
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Understanding of basic cooking techniques and their application in institutional settings
Preferred Qualifications
- One to three years of experience in kitchen production
- ServSafe Certification
