About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support cooks and chefs with daily food preparation
  • Prepare daily menu items according to recipe specifications under the supervision of the Lead Cook
  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the work environment
  • Work within a fast-paced dining service environment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Understanding of basic cooking techniques and their application in institutional settings

Preferred Qualifications

  • One to three years of experience in kitchen production
  • ServSafe Certification
