Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals for residents with excellent presentation and flavor
• Ensure all dietary procedures and food production lines are followed to guarantee timely meal service
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including meat slicers, food processors, ovens, and grills
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local food service laws, regulations, and guidelines
• Represent the community with a positive attitude when interacting with residents and their families

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of dietary experience
• Knowledge of food service laws, regulations, and dietary procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Leadership ability and a willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary Arts training
