About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals for residents with excellent presentation.
- Ensure all dietary procedures and food production lines are followed to guarantee timely meal service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including meat slicers, food processors, ovens, and grills.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations regarding food service.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with residents and their families.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of dietary experience.
- Knowledge of dietary laws, regulations, and food service guidelines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
- Leadership ability and a willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
