About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and finish dishes with technical excellence and high gastronomy standards
- Organize and execute mise en place, ensuring quality, agility, and precision
- Plan production based on reservations and operational demands
- Ensure Food Safety standards, hygiene, organization, and product conservation
- Support the Sous Chef in operations, including service support and team training
- Work in harmony with the brigade, maintaining professionalism and a sense of urgency
- Maintain equipment, utensils, and the work environment to ensure operational excellence
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a cook in luxury hotels or high-end restaurants
- Knowledge of Food Safety, good practices, and kitchen operational standards
- Degree in Gastronomy is a plus
- Familiarity with precision cooking and Michelin standards is a plus
