About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare à la carte dishes according to high quality and food safety standards
- Manage mise en place including cuts, sauces, and ingredients
- Follow established recipes strictly as assigned by the head of area
- Support other cooks to ensure service continuity
- Maintain a clean and disinfected workspace before, during, and after shifts
- Properly pack, cover, and store sauces and preparations
- Report missing ingredients or supplies to the supervisor
- Ensure compliance with hotel hygiene and quality standards
Requirements
- Studies in culinary arts or gastronomy
- 1 to 3 years of experience, preferably in high-end hotels or restaurants
- Technical knowledge of culinary terminology and technical sheets
- Basic to intermediate English level
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Commitment to food safety and quality standards
