About the role
Responsibilities
- Handle overall cooking operations for the unit in the absence of Cook A
- Guide and instruct Cook C, Grill Cook, Cook’s Helper, and Dining Service Worker B
- Ensure all cooking operations comply with standardized procedures and schedules
- Perform all standard duties associated with the cooking group
Requirements
- High school or vocational school education (or equivalent)
- Two years of varied cooking experience
- Experience in a large volume institutional or restaurant setting
- Ability to pass the Food Handler’s Certification
- Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and production sheets
