Cook B

Responsibilities

• Handle overall cooking operations for the unit in the absence of Cook A
• Guide and instruct Cook C, Grill Cook, Cook’s Helper, and Dining Service Worker B
• Ensure all cooking operations comply with standardized procedures and schedules
• Perform all standard duties associated with the cook group

Requirements

• High school or vocational school education (or equivalent)
• Two years of varied cooking experience
• Experience in a large volume institutional or restaurant setting
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and production sheets
• Ability to obtain/pass Food Handler’s Certification
