Cook

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and Chef specifications
• Follow daily prep lists to ensure all items are ready for service
• Set up, work, and break down assigned stations including sauté, grill, or roasting
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food deliveries and kitchen supplies
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Manage cooking times to support timely service during peak periods
• Work closely with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards

Requirements

• Proficient written and verbal communication in English
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques including baking, broiling, grilling, sauté, and roasting
• Knowledge of food handling, safety, and restaurant guidelines
• Ability to work under stressful circumstances and adapt to changes
• Ability to work in collaboration with others to achieve team goals
• Ability to stand, walk, or be on feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent
• 1 year of food preparation experience
• ServSafe or similar food safety certification
• Spanish language skills
• Experience in guest facing roles
