Responsibilities

• Supervise the preparation of food items, upholding high standards of quality and presentation across all dining outlets
• Lead and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
• Anticipate needs and solve problems swiftly in high-pressure environments
• Utilize financial data and basic arithmetic to support cost-effective kitchen operations
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety standards and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
• Communicate clearly and listen actively to team members and guests to foster a collaborative environment

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive culinary experience, or a culinary degree with 2+ years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience
• Valid Food Handler certification as required by state regulations
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency in basic arithmetic for managing financial and kitchen data
