Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment adhering to sanitation standards
• Assist with managing kitchen inventory and reporting shortages
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure accurate portion sizes and presentation of dishes
• Train others on the operation of kitchen equipment
• Manage cooking times to ensure timely service during peak hours
• Follow all safety and health regulations regarding food handling and storage

Requirements

• 3 years of food preparation experience
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques including baking, grilling, and sauté
• Ability to work under stressful circumstances and adapt to changes
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in wet, cold, or hot conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent
• ServSafe or similar food safety certification
• Spanish language skills
