About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations by allocating workloads and monitoring capacity
- Ensure settlements and lodgements are completed accurately and on time
- Manage team performance against KPIs and service levels
- Act as the escalation point for complex matters
- Oversee shared inboxes and workflows to ensure daily clearance
- Drive process improvement and adherence to procedures
- Provide coaching, performance management, and training to File Handlers
- Manage a reduced file load of complex or high-risk matters
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process
- Proficiency with PEXA or Sympli
- Experience in a senior, mentoring, or leadership capacity within conveyancing or legal operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Experience delivering high-volume, deadline-driven work
